About MOTU Food Co.

The Mamea family has been entertaining large party's with these family recipes for years. We spent alot of time cooking for huge family events & mastering our techniques. My father Tusi was the oldest of 12 Samoan kids, so our family dinners are large party's. Over the years our family just got bigger and so did their appetite. Our food had to be simple, flavorful, & delicious to please the crowds. Eventually our family & friends wanted in on the fun. So we decided to share our delicious cuisine with everyone. The first ingredient in all of our recipes is love, and we cook everyday with care.

Hawaiian BBQ chicken $13

Chicken marinated in: Soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic, green onion, pineapple, sesame oil, brown sugar, sriracha, honey, & red chili flake.

Samoan Braised Beef $15

Tender melt in your mouth meat braised with: Guiness, bone broth, celery, carrots, green onion, salt, pepper, dark soy sauce, ginger, shallot, garlic, tomato paste, fish sauce, & fresh rosemary.

Cali Street Tacos $10

Viv's homemade carnitas slow cook for 8 hours in her recipe: Pork shoulder, garlic, salt, oregano, bay leaves, onion, Mexican Coca-Cola, fresh squeezed orange & lime juice.

Asian inspired flavors meet French technique slow cooking. Built in a braising pan & finished in the oven: Tamari soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, shallot, honey, guava jelly, bone broth, sake, sriracha, red chili flake, & Bay leaves.
